SAJAK (POEM)
By Santa Teresa

Do not let anything
disturb you or terrible;
Any object is passed,
Only God is everlasting;
Make patient guidelines
In any case;
Who has God,
would not ever to suffer;
only God, merely to Him.

(From Puisi Dunia (the World Poetry), Volume I, translated by M. Taslim Ali, Balai Pustaka 1952, which is more less the re-translation in English like above)

Women are the earth has water, nourish the life with knowledge, from them the planted roots of consciousness bear fruit; flowers spread the color and fragrance.

On earth, all beings came from her, the morning mist toward the highlands, the cloud like veils shelter nervous; shade, coolness of meaning to really understand to the eternity.

Prosperity of life by the blessing of the owner of prettiness, whom transformed the creation of the wonderful of breaths manifested by the beauty, hermitage in the heart goes into the ocean of wisdom.

So, composure of night hypnotized problems of day, hollow eyes (calm) appease angry eyes, while the lips were covered with a smile, its flowering sow joy.

Here, the women are in balanced state with circulation of nature, which covered the fog of myth, continued to grow in the crown of the head of every man to think the events.

If the rain began to subside in the field of night, the night animals come out of the defect-fault of the ground; all sing the song of worship.

The events of life were composed until nothing was unworthy, all were concentrating similar shadows swallowed by the night, the seriousness of devoted was flying high, that the God is the treasury owners.

Quiet and loneliness (deserted) gives the teaching to the main ideas of life, with genuine affection, will not fragile the chain of soul to the limit of the grave.

Dialogues were reaching each other (mutual dialogue), welcome the heart, the way seemed spacious from it, between the life and death there is no screen space (separator), full of fragrant of tranquility, though the noisy comes back and forth.

When the holy sentences came from so many decades ago, perched politely to uncover hijab to pulsate the minds, when in cross-legged to wait for the coming.

Or, go as sign of the existence of silent of understanding, quiet sitting to submit to play the tale (story).

The days covered by pain would not suffer to the misery line, there was honey tasted so long from the perfect sorrow of her heart, that's wanderer got the teaching, ascetic be patient in caves of inner.

Pervasive signs incarnated flesh rattle to the exposed words to interpret the age, if live is just passed, why some people are killing each other.

Doesn’t pour jar into a glass filled with water, to drink by throat almost burst, for the silence to accept each destinies respectively in the world.

Wouldn’t be understood, except the sculptor on the wall of time doesn’t seem by eyes, but it was there and felt the results.
